Curtis, table and lamp
Every other weekend I work in a fabric store selling fabrics
and curtains. I don't like curtains, I never have.                         I'm very fond of working with things I don't like.
Curtis, which I'm presenting for the first time at Designers
Block in Milan 2007, is an outcome of me embracing things
I don't fancy. Curtis is a table and a lamp draped with fabric
just like curtains.

Mogg, stool
Continuing on the theme, I like to work with things I
dislike, Mogg is inspired by typical Swedish allmoge
(peasant) furniture.                                                                       I was watching the antiques road show one evening and saw a fantastic old peasant cupboard. It wasn't the design of the cupboard but the worn painting displaying several layers of old paint that caught my fascination. Mogg is a stool painted several times and then sandpapered decoratively.

News

Curtis and Mogg are locally produced in Swedish wood, painted with eco paint and Curtis is draped in eco fabrics. All three objects are collapsible.
